Property tax payment is due today

Today is the deadline to pay the first installment of property tax bills before a 10% penalty is assessed.
Payments can be made at the Orange County Treasurer-Tax Collector’s office, 12 Civic Center Plaza, Room G-58, Santa Ana, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
If payment is mailed, the envelope must have a U.S. government postmark by today at the latest.
Office machine cancellation marks are not accepted.
Tax bills can also be paid by phone at (714) 834-3411 or online at www.ttc.ocgov.com.
Today is also the property tax deadline in Los Angeles County and other Southland counties.
