Atlanta 98, at Orlando 87: The Hawks led all but the opening 90 seconds in handing the Magic its second straight loss and first losing streak this season. Josh Smith had 25 points and a season-high 16 rebounds for Atlanta, winner of three in a row.

Dallas 99, at New York 89: Dirk Nowitzki scored a season-high 36 points to lead the Mavericks past the Knicks for the 11th time in their last 12 meetings. Nowitzki made 14 of 23 shots as the Mavericks shot 54% from the field.

at Sacramento 96, Milwaukee 93: The Kings rallied by outscoring the Bucks, 30-19, in a fourth quarter featuring 10 lead changes. Beno Udrih’s jumper put the Kings ahead for good, 95-93. John Salmons had 22 points for the Kings.

at Philadelphia 100, Houston 88: The 76ers led by as many as 31 points in winning their third straight game. Willie Green scored 20 points and Andre Miller added 17 points and 12 assists for Philadelphia.

Miami 117, at Phoenix 113: In losing to the Heat (6-15), the Suns have lost consecutive games to struggling teams after falling to Minnesota (3-15) on Saturday. Phoenix had won nine games in a row against Eastern Conference teams.
