A hit piece

Re “Clinton toeing the line of campaign negativity,” Dec. 20
This story on Sen. Hillary Clinton’s campaign in Iowa is yet another thinly veiled hit piece on her. It is self-evident to many voters that Sen. Barack Obama’s thin resume is an issue. We are a country at war. Experience matters. Yet The Times and some other news outlets treat this real concern as if it is simply Clinton sniping. It is not. It is a legitimate concern. If Obama thinks he can lead a nation after half a term in the Senate, he should make the argument, not rely on a biased media to do his heavy lifting.
