It always sneaks up on you. You pick up on the latest must-have -- tattoo print sneakers, a skull-print scarf, a mink vest. You wear it constantly, everyone does, you get a huge kick out of it, until -- that moment: The loser brother in “Entourage” wearing an Ed Hardy shirt -- for the whole episode. Until you want to rip it off his back, and yours. The sample-sale room bursting with more skulls than a catacomb. Fifteen bucks! Who wants any of them? It’s a sad moment when a trend has runs its course, but there’s always another one just behind it. Herewith, as we close the book on 2007, the things we never want to see again (and the things we want to see more of).
