City sues businesses in sex and drug crackdown
Three downtown businesses have been sued for allowing “rampant” prostitution and drug sales that prey on skid row addicts and the homeless, City Atty. Rocky Delgadillo said Thursday.
A bar, a restaurant and a hotel are named in court filings by Delgadillo’s office.
One of the civil lawsuits targets the building owner and business operators of Craby Joe’s Bar and of Mr. Fish restaurant at 652 S. Main St., where officials allege dozens of drug sales have been made in recent months.
In the other action, Myung Ho Han, the owner of the Vogue Hotel at 820 S. Spring St., agreed Jan. 30 to ensure that the business does not allow prostitution, Delgadillo said.
