Police seek witnesses to 60 Freeway shooting
Sheriff’s Department homicide detectives were seeking witnesses Tuesday to a car-to-car freeway shooting that left an unidentified man dead.
A tow truck driver called the California Highway Patrol about 6:30 p.m. Monday to report a stalled car in the slow lane of the westbound Pomona Freeway in Boyle Heights.
When an officer approached the white Honda CR-V, about a quarter mile from the Indiana Street offramp, he found the driver bleeding and unconscious.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Sheriff’s homicide bureau at (323) 890-5500.
