Trespassing alleged in day labor demonstration
From Times Staff Reports
Three men demonstrating in support of day laborers were arrested Saturday on suspicion of trespassing on private property, officials said.
The men, whose names and ages were not released, were among nearly three dozen people demonstrating in the 25200 block of Jeronimo Road. A security guard made a citizen’s arrest, then contacted the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, Lt. Val Wilson said.
It was unclear whether the men were day laborers. They were booked into the Orange County Jail.
