‘Turf’ review takes you there

I find S. Irene Virbila’s reviews enjoyable, informative and entertaining, though many do not correspond to my budget or geographical location. Today’s critique [“On Prime Turf in Santa Monica,” Jan. 17] is pure platinum. I felt I was actually in the place, soaking up the vintage warmth and ambience, laughing with the waiters, eagerly awaiting a gastronomic acme only to be disappointed and seriously cash depleted. Thanks as always for an excellent read.
