Councilman is indicted by county grand jury

Councilman Steve Castaneda has been indicted by the San Diego County Grand Jury and will be arraigned Thursday in Superior Court, according to court documents. Castaneda, 47, has accused Dist. Atty. Bonnie Dumanis of trying to force him from office. Castaneda has said that he is being investigated for buying property in the city’s redevelopment area.
