Police kill man allegedly using knife to threaten

Police fatally shot a man Monday who was allegedly threatening his brother with a butcher knife.
Officers received a call shortly before 2 a.m. reporting that Joe Whitehouse, 30, of Anaheim was making threats with a knife outside his brother’s apartment in the 2500 block of East Park Lane, Anaheim Police Sgt. Rick Martinez said.
Soon after arriving, two officers shot him outside the door to the apartment. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police did not release further details.
