Price at some toll road onramps to increase
Cash customers will pay 25 cents more at selected onramps on the Foothill/Eastern and San Joaquin toll roads, officials said.
Beginning July 2, the top fare will be $5 for peak traffic hours at the Catalina View Plaza on the San Joaquin turnpike.
The fare will increase a quarter at the El Toro and Newport Coast ramps, a toll roads spokeswoman said.
The Foothill/Eastern toll road ramps at Oso Parkway and Portola Parkway West will cost a quarter more. The peak-hour price will be $2.50, the spokeswoman said.
Peak hours are 7 to 9 a.m. and 4 to 7 p.m., she said.
