Man is charged with DUI, hit-and-run
From Times Wire Reports
A motorist who struck two people and about two dozen cars during a wild ride in February was charged Friday with drunk driving and hit-and-run.
David Wecksler, 31, of Long Beach was charged with two misdemeanor counts in connection with incident, which occurred over multiple blocks in Belmont Heights.
Prosecutors contend that he was drunk when his GMC Sierra truck sideswiped rows of parked cars Feb. 15. Two people were struck but received only minor scrapes, authorities said.
