* Your polling place: Los Angeles voters can visit www.lavote.net and click on “Polling Place & Sample Ballot Look Up.” All other voters should contact the local city clerk. Contact information for city clerks can also be found on the website. Click on the “General Information” tab, the “City Elections” link and finally on “City Clerk List/Websites.”
For Desert Hot Springs voters: voteinfo.net.
* Election results: In Los Angeles County, returns will be totaled by individual cities, not by the county registrar of voters as in major elections. The League of Women Voters will attempt to post results as soon as possible at www.smartvoter.org. In some cases, results also will be available on city websites.
In Riverside County, the registrar will count ballots for the Desert Hot Springs election. Election results can be found at voteinfo.net.
