Driver dies after hitting tow truck

A 30-year-old Santa Ana woman died after the vehicle she was driving hit a tow truck, authorities said Saturday.
The woman was heading east in the 1600 block of McFadden Avenue late Friday when her vehicle veered into the westbound lanes and collided with the truck. She was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where she died about 10:35 p.m. Her name was not released, pending notification of relatives.
Authorities said the accident did not appear to be alcohol-related.
