Four purebred Yorkshire terriers stolen from a Koreatown home were reunited with their owners Saturday after detectives arrested one of the suspected robbers, Los Angeles police said.

Shortly before 10 p.m. on Feb. 23, two men broke into the home on Manhattan Place and took five terriers, including four puppies that had been advertised for sale in a newspaper, while holding the owners at gunpoint, police said.

The robbery was captured by the family’s home security system, and police released the videotape Thursday in hopes television viewers could help apprehend the suspects.

Ryan Betton, 19, of Los Angeles turned himself in to police Friday night and was being held Saturday.

The terriers were recovered from several locations, according to police. They were reunited with their owners at a news conference at the Wilshire Division station Saturday night.

One puppy and the other suspect were still missing, police said.
