Man’s badly burned body found in garage fire

Firefighters responding to a fire in the West Adams neighborhood early Sunday discovered a man’s badly burned body, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman d’Lisa Davies.
The unidentified man had been inside a converted garage, Davies said. An investigation into the fire and the man’s death has begun. The garage was behind a two-story Victorian home.
A firefighter was hospitalized after he injured his back falling off a roof.
