A Santa Ana man has been arrested in connection with the death of a taxicab driver following Cinco de Mayo celebrations, Fullerton Police Sgt. Linda King said.

Shawn Kenneth Zuelzke, 25, was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of murder and was being held in lieu of $1-million bail, King said. He is scheduled to be arraigned today.

The arrest stems from a May 6 incident in the 100 block of North Harbor Boulevard in Fullerton, where three men got into a taxi and allegedly began banging on the windows and doors. When driver Bernard Nwanguma, 48, tried to stop them, Zuelzke allegedly punched him. Nwanguma fell and later died from head injuries.
