Out with English-language telenovelas and in with reality programming.

MyNetworkTV revealed a new fall schedule Tuesday that gives the channel a complete overhaul. The new programs, to be seen locally on KCOP-TV Channel 13, include four reality shows and a host of “Access Hollywood” specials as well as sporting events.

MyNetworkTV, created by the stations that were left over when UPN and WB merged to form the CW, launched last fall with a lot of soap operas, trying to mirror the success that Spanish-language networks such as Univision have found with telenovelas. The ratings didn’t translate, however, and that programming is gone in the new schedule.

Returning on Mondays, with an encore presentation on Saturdays, will be “IFL Battleground,” which follows athletes and coaches of the International Fight League.

On Tuesdays, the network will introduce “The Academy,” which follows personnel at the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Training Academy, and “Jail,” which is created by John Langley of “Cops” fame and follows inmates from booking through their first days behind bars.

The Wednesday lineup includes “Divorce Wars,” which offers an intense look at couples struggling to hold on to their relationships, and “Meet My Folks,” from reality producer Bruce Nash, a relationship show in which daughters must date whom their parents choose.

Thursdays and Fridays will continue to be “My Movie” nights, with films such as Sylvester Stalone’s “Rocky” series, “U.S. Marshals” and “The Amityville Horror.”

The network has also partnered with Fox Reality and Mentorn USA to develop all new episodes of “Paradise Hotel” for next spring. Shot on location in Mexico, the show will follow a group of single people living in a luxurious resort who are competing to see who can stay in the hotel the longest.
