For the Record

Boxing: In Friday’s Sports section, an article detailing a lawsuit involving Oscar de la Hoya said the woman who is suing the boxer recanted information after being told by De La Hoya’s attorney, Stephen Espinoza, that FBI detectives “were interested in speaking” with her. The lawsuit did not identify Espinoza as the source of the FBI information, but instead noted that information was given to the woman by anonymous defendants who were identified only as John and Jane Doe.
