Re “Not everybody loves this parade,” Nov. 26
To trash the community’s valiant efforts to keep its holiday pageant alive in the face of major funding obstacles by demeaning the stature of the dedicated industry stalwarts who took the time to participate has got be Scrooge-spirited, kamikaze journalism at its best or misplaced politics at its worst. Either way, it’s the surest road to wiping out the last sputtering spark of a genuine Hollywood holiday so synonymous with one of the most popular communities on Earth.
