* at No. 17 Missouri 41, No. 25 Nebraska 6: Chase Daniel passed for a career-best 401 yards and ran for two scores, and the Tigers (5-0, 1-0) got a big game from their defense in a victory over the Cornhuskers (4-2, 1-1) at Columbia. Nebraska, which entered the game averaging 36 points, was held without a touchdown for the first time since Nov. 13, 2004.
* Kansas 30, at No. 24 Kansas State 24: Todd Reesing threw for 267 yards and three touchdowns, and the Jayhawks (5-0, 1-0) overcame some potentially ruinous mistakes to beat the Wildcats (3-2, 1-1) at Manhattan and start a season 5-0 for only the third time in 39 years. Reesing passed to Dexton Fields for a 30-yard scoring play that gave Kansas a 27-24 lead.
* Colorado 43, at Baylor 23: Demetrius Sumler scored three touchdowns, Kevin Eberhart kicked four field goals longer than 40 yards and the Buffaloes (4-2, 2-0) knocked off the Bears (3-3, 0-2) at Waco, Texas.
* at Texas Tech 42, Iowa State 17: Michael Crabtree set an NCAA record for receiving touchdowns by a freshman in his sixth straight multiple-touchdown game as the Red Raiders (5-1, 1-1) routed the Cyclones (1-5, 0-2) at Lubbock. Crabtree scored three times, giving him 17 for the season.
* at Texas A&M; 24, Oklahoma State 23: Jorvorskie Lane rushed for two touchdowns and had his first touchdown catch as the Aggies (5-1, 2-0) matched their largest comeback ever, rallying from 17 points down to beat the Cowboys (3-3, 1-1) at College Station.
