From Times Wire Reports

Idaho Sen. Larry E. Craig appealed a lower court judge’s decision that he could not withdraw his guilty plea for disorderly conduct in a restroom of the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport.

He did not detail the grounds for appeal, filed in St. Paul.

And in a television interview to be broadcast tonight, Craig said that Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney “threw me under his campaign bus” after the story broke that the Idaho lawmaker pleaded guilty to charges stemming from a sex sting. “He not only threw me under his campaign bus, he backed up and ran over me again,” Craig told NBC’s Matt Lauer. Romney had called the Craig incident “disgusting.”
