Teacher, 40, is accused of molesting student, 14

A 40-year-old teacher from the Van Nuys area has been charged with sexually molesting a 14-year-old boy who was in her private home-schooling program, police said.
The Los Angeles County district attorney’s office has filed 14 felony counts against Merideth Johnson Vincent, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Her bail was set at $550,000.
Vincent is accused of molesting the boy over a period of several months. Detectives from the LAPD’s Van Nuys Division arrested her Thursday.
