College football: In Sunday’s Sports section, an article on USC’s defense against Notre Dame said the Trojans’ 19-0 victory over the Irish in November 1933 marked the first loss for Notre Dame in its then-4-year-old stadium. That November game, however, was not the Irish’s first loss in that stadium, nor its first shutout loss. It was the first shutout loss to USC, though, in Notre Dame’s relatively new home.
