Online lottery open for Angels playoff tickets

The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim on Wednesday announced an online lottery system to buy playoff tickets for home games.
Fans can register at the team’s website, www.angels baseball.com, team officials said, with a limit of one entry per person.
Only one registration is required for all three rounds, and registration closes Sept. 14, they said. No tickets will be available at Angel Stadium or Ticketmaster outlets.
“We believe this MLB-sponsored lottery system affords our fans an equal chance to acquire tickets,” team president Dennis Kuhl said.
