vs. Colorado, 7:30, FSC, FSE

Site -- Home Depot Center.

Radio -- 1700 (live), 830 (Spanish, delay after Angels’ game).

Records -- Galaxy 3-11-5; Rapids 7-9-7.

Record vs Rapids -- 0-2.

Update -- The Rapids, who routed an injury-decimated Galaxy team, 3-0, two weeks ago in Colorado, are in a tight race with the Chicago Fire and Columbus Crew, who play each other tonight, for the eighth and final MLS playoff spot. Coach Fernando Clavijo’s squad has two midfield concerns: Terry Cooke has a strained groin and Pablo Mastroeni was ill and withdrew from the U.S. team that plays Brazil on Sunday in a friendly in Chicago. Both are questionable. The Galaxy will be without the injured David Beckham, without Landon Donovan, who is with the U.S. team for the Brazil game, and without defender Troy Roberts, who is suspended after being red-carded in last Saturday’s loss to Real Salt Lake. Ty Harden will probably return from injury to reclaim his starting spot from Roberts. Two other Galaxy players, defender Ante Jazic and midfielder Kevin Harmse, leave Sunday to join Canada’s national team for its Wednesday friendly against Costa Rica in Toronto.
