21 students arrested while helping tree sitters

Police arrested 21 students on suspicion of trespassing after dozens climbed a fence to deliver supplies to several protesters sitting in oak trees threatened by the planned construction of a campus athletic center.
The tree sitters have been in the old oaks since December, after UC Berkeley announced plans for a $125-million athletic training center on the site.
