HIT AND MISS
* Hit: It has been one of the toughest holes on the course since statistics were first kept in 1942, but the 495-yard 10th didn’t play that way for Robert Allenby. He holed out from the fairway for an eagle. It’s only the eighth eagle at the 10th, and the first since Brandt Jobe made one in 2006.
* Miss: So much for consistency. Niclas Fasth made his first par of his third round at the sixth hole, after starting out bogey, eagle, bogey, bogey and bogey. Then he bogeyed the seventh and birdied the ninth. Fasth had three birdies and an eagle, seven bogeys and a double bogey, six pars and shot 76.
