Boylan and Krystkowiak are fired
The Chicago Bulls fired interim Coach Jim Boylan on Thursday after a 33-49 season.
The Bulls were 24-32 under Boylan, 52, who replaced the fired Scott Skiles in December. Chicago was 49-33 last season and reached the second round of the playoffs.

The Milwaukee Bucks fired Larry Krystkowiak after his first full season as coach.
Krystkowiak, 43, replaced Terry Stotts in March 2007.
Touted as a playoff contender before the season, the Bucks finished 26-56.

Donnie Walsh replaced Isiah Thomas as the New York Knicks’ president two weeks ago but said he wasn’t ready to announce a decision on Thomas’ coaching future after a 23-59 season.
The New York Daily News, however, reported that Thomas was told last week that he would not return as coach.
------
Golden State Coach Don Nelson, 67, said he will let the Warriors know by July 1 if he will return for his third and final $5.1-million season.
