Woman killed in single-car crash
A woman was killed early Saturday when the Saab she was driving ran off the road.
She was not identified pending notification of relatives.
The accident occurred about 2 a.m. when the car failed to make a turn while traveling rapidly north on San Miguel Drive at Ford Road. The Saab hit a metal awning support and came to rest in the parking lot of the Bonita Canyon Sports Park.
Police said they did not know whether alcohol was a factor.
The cause of the accident was under investigation.
