Lake’s deposition is rescheduled

A San Diego judge has rescheduled to March 10 the deposition of a would-be sports agent who is suing Reggie Bush.

Lloyd Lake was originally scheduled to answer questions under oath earlier this week but walked out of the deposition because Bush’s attorneys brought an armed, plain-clothed security guard.

This time, the deposition will take place in a courthouse and there will be no private security.

In the civil suit, Lake claims to have given cash and gifts to Bush and his family while the player was still at USC.

Lake and a partner were trying to launch a marketing agency with Bush as their primary client. The venture fell through when Bush signed with an established agent.

Lake claims to have given Bush and his family more than $290,000, an allegation that has prompted an NCAA investigation into the matter.

Bush, who has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing, is scheduled to be deposed on Feb. 25.
