Camerata Pacifica, the Santa Barbara chamber music ensemble founded in 1990 by flutist Adrian Spence, will make its first international tour to Ireland and Britain, April 29 to May 3.
On tour, the group will play John Harbison’s Quintet for Piano and Strings; Intermezzo No. 1 from Brahms’ Three Intermezzi, Opus 117, and Ian Wilson’s “Messenger Concerto” for Violin and Chamber Ensemble.
A preview concert will be played April 22 at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in downtown Los Angeles. The group will then travel to the Library of Congress in Washington for a concert on April 24 and to the Morgan Library in New York on April 25 before embarking to Ireland.
