Judge sues man who shot him

A family court judge in Reno, who was shot in June 2006 by a man whose bitter divorce he was handling, is suing gunman Darren Mack.
Washoe County Family Court Judge Chuck Weller is seeking damages of more than $100,000. He filed the suit in district court.
Mack was sentenced this month to life in prison for fatally stabbing his estranged wife, Charla Mack, in June 2006. He was also sentenced to a concurrent 40 years for shooting the judge the same day in a sniper-style attack.
