DALLAS -- As the Ducks soared to the Pacific Division lead over the last three weeks, Samuel Pahlsson has been in the shadows wondering when he will feel good enough to return to the ice.

Pahlsson isn’t any closer to playing as he sat for the 13th consecutive game Sunday because of an abdominal injury that hasn’t healed enough to where he’s comfortable competing against some of the game’s top forwards.

“I can skate out there but I can’t really go 100%,” he said. “I can do most of the stuff but I don’t want to jeopardize myself.”

Pahlsson didn’t skate for the last two days of the trip as he had a setback last week.

And it appears as if he won’t return until after the All-Star break at the earliest. Pahlsson has never had an injury that has kept him out this long in his seven-year NHL career.

“I just don’t want to rush it,” he said.

Ducks enforcer George Parros came off injured reserve after missing three games because of a bruised knee he suffered Jan. 9 against Toronto.

To make room for Parros, Drew Miller was sent to the minors. Miller had played in one game in his latest stint, logging 8:27 of ice time against Dallas at home last week.

The Ducks’ Stanley Cup title was selected as the top sports moment of 2007 at the third annual L.A. Sports Awards, which is presented by the Los Angeles Sports Council. General Manager Brian Burke was also selected as executive of the year by the organization during a televised ceremony at the Beverly Hilton.
