Holiday closures
Friday is Independence Day. The following schedule will be in effect in observance of the holiday.
* Offices: City, county and federal offices and courts will be closed.
* Mail: Mail will not be delivered and post offices will be closed.
* Libraries: Public libraries will be closed.
* Banks: Banking institutions will be closed.
* Schools: Public schools will be closed. UC Irvine, Cal State Fullerton and Chapman University will not hold classes.
* Public transportation: OCTA buses will be operating on a holiday schedule. Metrolink railways will not run.
* Trash collection: Trash will not be collected. Service will be delayed by one day.
