Update -- With one win in seven matches against the Eastern Conference this season, the Galaxy play host to the top team in the east, the New England Revolution, looking to hold on to their two-point lead in the West. While the Revolution has lost only once since May 3, the Galaxy saw a 2-0 lead turn into a 3-3 tie against Columbus and followed that up with a 4-1 loss at D.C. United. Four of the Galaxy’s next five games are on the road. Both David Beckham and leading scorer Landon Donovan sat out practice Thursday but are expected to play.
