Main events on the final day of the U.S. Olympic track and field trials:

Men’s 110-meter hurdle semifinals and final -- David Oliver looked strong in the preliminary round (13.24) and quarterfinal (13.07). Kevin Craddock of UCLA advanced too (13.58).

Women’s 100-meter hurdle semifinals and final -- Lolo Jones had the top quarterfinal time, 12.59. Southern California will be well-represented, with USC alumnae Candice Davis and Ginnie Powell and UCLA alumnae Joanna Hayes, the Athens gold medalist, Michelle Perry, the 2007 world champion, and Dawn Harper.

Women’s pole vault final -- Jenn Stuczynski could go for a world record if the weather is right.

Men’s 200 final -- Without defending world champion Tyson Gay, victim of a hamstring cramp during Saturday’s quarterfinals, the field is open.

Women’s 200 final -- Allyson Felix had the top semifinal time, 22.22, ahead of Bianca Knight’s 22.53. Also advancing: trials 100 champion Muna Lee (22.33), Marshevet Hooker (22.55), former Long Beach Poly star Shalonda Solomon (22.48), Lauryn Williams (22.59), Carmelita Jeter of Gardena (22.61) and Torri Edwards of Los Angeles (22.66).

Men’s 1,500 final -- Alan Webb won the trials in 2004 but finished ninth in the opening round at Athens. He will have a tough time beating Bernard Lagat here.
