* at Cincinnati 6, Washington 5: Adam Dunn hit a three-run homer that started Cincinnati’s comeback, and the Reds held on to complete a four-game series sweep. The four-game winning streak is the Reds’ second-longest this season. Washington has lost 11 of 15.

* New York 4, at Philadelphia 2 (12 innings): Fernando Tatis hit a two-run homer in the 12th inning to lift the Mets in a game that ended more than seven hours after it started. Jayson Werth hit a two-run homer against Billy Wagner with two out in the ninth to send the game into extra innings after it was delayed 2 hours 50 minutes because of rain in the bottom of the eighth.

* at Atlanta 7, Houston 6 (17 innings): Mark Teixeira singled off the wall with the bases loaded in the 17th inning to end the longest game in Turner Field history. Rain delayed the start of the game by 1:50.

* Florida 10, at Colorado 5: Cody Ross homered and drove in five runs and Chris Volstad tossed two scoreless innings to win his major league debut. Volstad was called up from double-A Carolina before the game.

* at Milwaukee 11, Pittsburgh 6: J.J. Hardy hit two homers, All-Star starter Ryan Braun hit one and the Brewers improved to 10 games over .500 for the first time this season. Hardy was three for four with four runs batted in to raise his average to .446 over the last 18 games.

* Chicago 7, at St. Louis 1: Aramis Ramirez had two hits and three runs batted in, Geovany Soto hit his 15th homer and Derrek Lee had three hits for the National League Central leaders, who won two of three from the second-place Cardinals. The weekend series was sold out with standing-room attendance of 46,752 for the finale.

* at Arizona 3, San Diego 2: Randy Johnson struck out 10 and gave up three hits in 6 1/3 innings, and Justin Upton hit the second-longest home run in Chase Field history, a 484-foot drive, to lead the Diamondbacks. Richie Sexson hit a 503-foot homer in 2004.

* Dodgers 5, at San Francisco 3: James Loney doubled twice and drove in three runs, and Los Angeles won its third consecutive series.
