A La Habra woman was convicted Tuesday of using fake Social Security numbers to steal more than $160,000 in what authorities called the largest known case of public housing assistance fraud in Orange County.

Laura Bianca Razo, 42, used three Social Security numbers to hide the fact that she made $60,000 a year as an insurance adjuster, allowing her to receive more than $166,000 in public housing vouchers, according to the O.C. district attorney’s office.

She also used a stolen Social Security number to take out more than $43,000 in college loans that she did not repay. Razo pleaded guilty to one felony count of identity theft, one felony count of grand theft, and two felony counts of perjury by declaration.
