St. Louis 8, at Atlanta 3: Albert Pujols homered to tie the score before the Cardinals broke it open with a five-run ninth.
at Houston 6, Cincinnati 2: Carlos Lee hit his 12th grand slam and Brian Moehler came within one out of a complete game.
Arizona 3, at San Diego 0: Doug Davis gave up a single in the seventh, breaking up his bid for a perfect game.
at Dodgers 2, San Francisco 0: Jason Johnson pitched six sharp innings and James Loney singled in the go-ahead run.
