The Daytime Emmys: Anthony Geary (“General Hospital”) is tied with David Canary (“All My Children”) for winning the most Daytime Emmys as lead actor (five). His victories: 1982, 1999, 2000, 2004, 2006. He’s also had six additional nominations. Initially, Geary’s character, Luke, was a hit man and rapist who ultimately married his victim Laura (Genie Francis), resulting in the greatest love affair in daytime TV history.
