Re “O.C. teens face computer hacking charges,” June 18
As a sixth-grade teacher, I can’t help but wonder when Omar Khan, charged with 69 felonies, started slipping in the ethics department.
Whether it was this year or long ago, parental denial was very likely a factor. This is a generation of parents who will believe the child over the professional. I could write the script: “You must be mistaken. He says he didn’t do it. He’s a good boy at home.”
