Update -- Only in the Arena Football League can a team have a 5-10 record and still be alive for a playoff berth. The Avengers need a win coupled with losses by either Colorado, Grand Rapids or Utah to make the postseason. Even if Los Angeles loses, it can still qualify for the American Division playoffs if Utah loses and Colorado and Grand Rapids win. Conversely, the Storm’s postseason chances have already been dashed in the competitive National Division. Tampa Bay has averaged 70.5 points the last two games and needs only 19 points to set a franchise record for points in a season.
