L.A. Film Fest sets schedule
The Los Angeles Film Festival announced Tuesday the full lineup for the 2008 festival in June. It includes “Hellboy II: The Golden Army,” “Choke,” “The Wackness” and the documentary “Anvil! The Story of Anvil.”
“I am proud of the festival’s ongoing growth within the community and pleased that we continue to attract world-class filmmakers like Guillermo del Toro and Timur Bekmambetov,” festival director Rich Raddon said.
Kicking off the event will be Universal Pictures’ “Wanted,” from Bekmambetov, on June 19. Based upon Mark Millar’s explosive graphic novel series, the film stars James McAvoy, Morgan Freeman and Angelina Jolie.
The festival will run through June 29.
