Dell founder to open auto retailer

Michael Dell’s private investment firm will create a luxury-auto retailer with the former chief of the Pep Boys car-parts chain.
Dell’s MSD Capital and Jeff Rachor, who was president of dealer group Sonic Automotive Inc. before joining Pep Boys, said they would form MSD Automotive Partners.
