3 of 6 frat houses’ suspensions lifted

Share

Three of the six fraternities that were suspended by San Diego State University officials after a huge campus drug bust involving undercover agents have had their suspensions lifted, officials said.

Phi Kappa Theta, Sigma Alpha Mu and Sigma Alpha Epsilon each had at least one member who was arrested on felony drug charges, but there was insufficient evidence to implicate the fraternities themselves, officials said. Lambda Chi Alpha, Phi Kappa Psi and Theta Chi remain on suspension pending further investigation.
