at Boston 96, Chicago 80: Kevin Garnett had 18 points and 10 rebounds three days after a mediocre season opener and became the youngest player in NBA history to play in 1,000 regular-season games. Garnett -- at 32 years 165 days old -- broke the record of Shawn Kemp, who reached the milestone on Dec. 20, 2002, when he was 33 years 24 days old. Kobe Bryant is two years and three months younger than Garnett and already has played 868 games.

at Toronto 112, Golden State 108 (OT): Two free throws by Chris Bosh tied the score at 96-96 with 14.5 seconds left in regulation, and then he took over in overtime to finish with 31 points.

at Philadelphia 116, New York 87: The 76ers limited the Knicks to 32.7% shooting (32 for 98) and only 15 fourth-quarter points.

at Miami 103, Sacramento 77: Dwyane Wade had 20 points and eight assists, and the Heat scored 41 points off turnovers in the victory.

at Memphis 86, Orlando 84: Rudy Gay, who finished with 29 points, made an 18-foot shot from the right of the basket as time expired to give the Grizzlies the victory. “I didn’t have a chance to think it was off” line, Gay said of the final shot. “I was thinking the whole time: ‘I practice this a lot, so go out there and do what I practice.’ ”

at Portland 100, San Antonio 99: The Trail Blazers held off the Spurs as Portland’s LaMarcus Aldridge made a jump shot with 35 seconds left for a 100-97 lead. Michael Finley’s shot at the buzzer rimmed out for the Spurs.

Denver 113, at Clippers 103 (OT): Allen Iverson scored nine of his 25 points in the final 3:35 of overtime, and the Nuggets overcame an 18-point halftime deficit to beat the Clippers.
