Long voting lines
Re “L.A. County’s early voters don’t escape the lines,” Nov. 2
Could someone please explain the pathetically inadequate resources set aside in Los Angeles County for early voting? Is everyone at the county registrar’s office asleep? It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to anticipate heavy voter turnout this year. It apparently wasn’t a problem for Orange County.

It is inexcusable that there is only one early voting location in the county with the most registered voters in the entire nation.
Who made this decision? It seems aimed at the working poor who frequently can’t vote because they hold down two or three jobs. I wish The Times would investigate the registrar’s rationale.
