Ravens...41 Texans...13
Joe Flacco threw for two touchdowns and Ray Lewis had two interceptions to lead the Baltimore Ravens to their fourth consecutive victory, 41-13 over the Houston Texans.
The Ravens (6-3) have scored at least 27 points in a team-record four consecutive games. Sunday was the first time they’ve scored more than 40 points on the road since 1999. The Texans are 3-6.
Flacco was 15 for 23 for 185 yards and threw touchdown passes to Yamon Figurs and Todd Heap, keeping his composure despite being under heavy pressure most of the day.
Willis McGahee ran for 112 yards and two touchdowns in a game originally scheduled for Sept. 14 but postponed because of Hurricane Ike.
Quoteworthy: “We’re getting better and better. Our main goal is to improve each week and hit our stride right when it counts most.” -- Joe Flacco, Ravens quarterback
