Coachella and Stagecoach set
Time to book a hotel room in Indio.
The next Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival will be April 17 to 19 and its country cousin, the Stagecoach Festival, will be the following weekend, April 25 and 26. No word on the talent lineups yet.
Why is Coachella being held a week earlier next year? AEG Live, the concert promotion company that became a partner in the event in 2001, is also the corporate engine these days behind the grand old New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, which will be held April 24 to 26 and April 30 to May 3. For logistical reasons the decision was made to avoid overlap.
